Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA/EU), acting as our processor.

3. Order processing in the online shop

To process your order we process the data you provide, in particular name, billing and delivery address, email address and order/payment details. Processing is carried out to perform the purchase contract (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR) and to comply with legal retention obligations, in particular under tax and commercial law (Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR).

4. Payment processing

Payment is processed via our payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland. Depending on your selection, Stripe offers various payment methods (incl. credit/debit card, Klarna and PayPal); the payment data required for this is transmitted to Stripe. The legal basis is performance of the contract (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR).

5. Shipping

To deliver your order, we pass on your delivery data to the shipping or logistics company we have commissioned, insofar as this is necessary for delivery (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR).

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR).

8. Transfers to third countries

With some services (e.g. Vercel, Stripe), personal data may be transferred to the USA. Such transfers take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the EU Commission (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, Art. 45 GDPR) or, in addition, on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) lit. c GDPR).

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. The data is deleted afterwards.
